Moto G specs and performance
Moto G is ready to offer something like Best Buy opportunity. The phone has a 4.5 inches TFT LCD screen with 720p, then quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor at 1.2 GHz, 1GB of RAM and a choice between 8 and 16GB internal memory. When the cameras are concerned, users can count on 5 and 1.3 MP, and the battery of 2070mAh. The first news say that the phone is quite rushy and it works quite nice, and only remaining question is whether the same will happen with the new version of the OS. If this shows as a true, Moto G will be a hit, no matter it lacks LTE connectivity. The reason why is that Moto G is designed for global market (not as typical American Moto X) where relatively small number of people has access to 4G.Moto G design
When it comes to visual aspect, quite expectedly Moto G looks almost identical to the older brother Moto X, but the difference is noticeable in the front camera and the rear speaker, which is on the left side, comparing to right side on Moto X. The design incorporates elements like close to edges screen, nice curved background and a new surface coating made in nanotechnology which is supposed to repel water ( we'll wait and see if the Moto G is truly waterproof). Personalization feature, known as Moto Maker, isn't present here, but there is a option to change the background of your phone and put the color you want. You can choose between blue, red, yellow, purple, white and black background. However, this doesn't mean that the battery is changeable, so you can say that this option is purely cosmetic. At the same time, Moto G doesn't have microSD slot, so the question is whether 8GB general is enough, but at the same time don't ignore the price of this phone! Also, the first information indicates that the build quality is at a high level, or better than the price range the phone suggests.Moto G software
Moto G comes with a 4.3 Jelly Bean Android, which is a bit strange, but the manufacturer assures that only a matter of weeks and the update to 4.4. KitKat will be served. Moto G has picked up some good stuff from Moto X, but not the useful and interesting one, which still require better processor.Moto G display
It seems that beside practical 4.5 inches this display has great accuracy of the colors, as well as viewing angles. Motorola decided to make a good phone regardless of price. In some aspects this display exceeds Moto X. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and Motorola claims it's the sharpest display in its class (329 ppi).Moto G first impression
The new Motorola with big G looks like a spring in the middle of autumn. It shouldn't be such a big surprise having in mind that this is the first Motorola's global product under Google authority. Since Moto G is designed as a budget phone, it is clear that it will compete with phones which are not match to it (such as Firefox and Asha models). Motorola can now seat and relax.
