Norton: there will be more viruses for Android OS

Company Symantec (manufacturer of Norton antivirus) did some research for Android OS and by the results it's looking good.

They wrote very big report about potential virus attacks from the web, that can infect your mobile device. But, how come that such "intelligent" operative system is so vulnerable?

Best place for downloading any Android application is on Android Market. There isn't any kind of monitoring of new applications on the Market, which makes this market liberate and open. But, it's not secret that there is no monitoring of new application, so it's possible to download some applications that has some inside viruses. We wrote before about Android Market and possible applications with viruses.

Experts from Norton said that viruses will steal information from device where's installed. Applications for Counterstrike (add-on) and applications with attractive girls are the most popular places for viruses. So, try to avoid these applications.

The real problem is speed of expanding existing virus: 13 applications where under monitoring, they were downloaded between 1 and 5.000.000 times.
