BlackBerry is responding to the needs of the market and on general satisfaction of the same presented the youngest member of his successful Curve family, and we have a pleasure to play with it and present it in the way that we experienced it. The new device is called the
BlackBerry Curve 9360, but with the performances and price considered to be a weaker device in supreme class. This the successor to the
Curve 8520 and
Curve 9300 who have achieved remarkable success, and the continuation of this series was more than logical. Also is logical that the most recent model of this series is significantly improved over its predecessors and it is certainly a pleasant refreshment for this series.
As for the size and weight of the BlackBerry Curve 9360 is quite similar to their predecessor. Dimensions of this device are 109 x 60 x 11 mm, and weighs around 99g. From design aspect 9360 is remarkable and we would characterize it as a beautiful and attractive phone . This device gives the impression of a harmonious and certainly compact device, and thanks to its dimensions nicely fits into hand. As potential buyers of this model we can imagine it is equally suits for the business world or in the hands of a lady. Device is made of plastic, but no way we could characterize it as cheap or poor quality 'cause BlackBerry design team evidently tried to create a compact phone. What is typical for BlackBerry is the QWERTY keyboard that this model has (the keyboard is in four lines) which will certainly please the fans of SMS messages. We have to give a little criticism to the keyboard, which seems it is devoted less attention than Bold 9900, which is a sort of "finer" to touch than this one, but it would be unfair to say that keyboard of 9360 is bad. Under back cover is 1000 mAh Li-ion battery, which in intensive use in 3G mode supports more than 2 days, which is a solid performance.
Curve 9360 is equipped with TFT display size of a 2.44-inch resolution of 480 × 360. This is where we come to the first refreshments for Curve 9360 in comparison to their predecessors who are stuck on the QVGA level. Display of this model is clean and clear with good contrast and wide examination, and observation of the same is not problematic even in bright sunlight, and we would rate display as excellent.
The camera quality of this device is solid, with its 5 MP this camera is able to make great pictures. The only flaw of camera refers to the fixed autofocus, and shoot at close range is not something the model can stand out. This processor is a solid platform for much improved graphics hardware, and this improved processor also allows the operation of latest BlackBerry OS without errors.
