Galaxy S5 details

About a month and a half ago we collected some information that Samsung is preparing a surprise for this year. The Korean manufacturer is preparing several smartphones for 2014 with a screen that will have extremely high pixel density. In particular, it is mentioned that the „smaller" screens (of about 5 inches) will be equipped with 560 pixels per inch screen, which should provide them with a fantastic resolution of 2560×1440 pixels! It is not impossible that the Galaxy S5 is the first phone that could have such a display. If the current 1080p displays are just delighting with their sharpness and image quality, we can only imagine what will happen when these AMOLED screens appear. This could be true screen revolution we’ve been waiting so long. Don’t get us wrong. Full HD screens are ok, but we always want more. And it seems Samsung is ready to give us just that.

In the meantime, there has been new information that tells us Samsung already started producing 5.25-inch AMOLED screen just ready for Galaxy S5, which confirms the previous thesis that the Galaxy S5 entered production in late December. New screens have a diamond structure pixels (the same is with the Galaxy S4 and Note 3), which is characterized by green pixels, interlaced with red and blue. This provides increased sharpness and pixel density. That could mean that future Galaxy S5 will be dominant phone in the market. We can already assume that the competitors will try hard to stand on it's way. And the phone hasn't even been revealed yet! You can imagine what kind of chaos will be on the smartphone market in 2014.

Galaxy S5 specs

It is expected that the Galaxy S5 will have a powerful 64-bit processor Exynos (with possible Snapdragon 800 or 805 version), then 3GB of RAM, a camera of 16MP, and the latest Android 4.4 KitKat.
