Another question is who designed the Android logo? This second question is particularly important, given that it is one of the most distinctive graphic solutions on the planet.

The answer is Irina Blok, who three years ago as a designer at Google was tasked to design the logo for the Android OS. The logo is supposed to contain the robot, so Irina had to "go" for the inspiration into the world of science fiction and films with a space theme.
