HTC One M8 Windows is official now

Windows Phone population got one more inhabitant. This time isn't one of Nokia brand, already a shiny new HTC One M8. We already reported about rumors HTC s preparing to switch its best Android smartphone on Windows Phone. After HTC Windows Phone 8X and HTC Windows Phone 8S in 2012, it was a right time to see something new from HTC in Windows Phone style. HTC One M8 Windows is available already in US via Verizon, with a price of $100 with a two-year contract. Until the time we're writing this text, we didn't get any information about the price in Europe.

HTC One M8 Windows brings the same design

The first photos show HTC One M8 Windows in a fully glory. The Windows Phone's tiles are looking perfect, and it looks like this phone is made for them. The phone packs the same 5-inch display with 1920x1080 pixels in OLED technology. Like its Android brother, HTC One M8 Windows has same dual-lens main camera, great BoomSound speakers and the same aluminum body.

HTC One M8 Windows Specs

HTC One M8 Windows works on Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage. The phone has microSD slot and NFC connectivity. Windows Phone 8.1.1 is OS in charge, with great novelty named Cortana - a Microsoft's voice assistant. Also, many of HTC's features are also here, like BlinkFeed, Sense TV and IR blaster. Everything looks great now, but will HTC One M8 Windows change anything or it will just be another episode of Nokia and Windows joint adventure with the lack of apps?
