Sony Xperia L
Sony Xperia L design
This phone is very much reminiscent of some older Xperia models. This primarily refers to the Sony Xperia S and Xperia T. At first glance, the phone is good looking and slim, because the waist has only 9.7 mm and weight of 137 g is acceptable, which means that it’s only slightly heavier than the leading smartphone - Samsung Galaxy S4. Differences still exist. Its plastic body is far from perfect. The phone does not lie in the hand very well, neither seems particularly strong. Particularly interesting is his back which is slightly curved, that gives a nice feeling in hands. All buttons are located on the right side, which is great for single hand use and if you are right handed. If you use more left hand, it will take some time to get used to that layout. This does not mean that Sony Xperia L has a poor design. On the contrary. In some elements, such as the LED notification light, it’s ahead of its competition. However, we think that it is not nearly enough to defeat Google Nexus 4.Sony Xperia L screen
Given the price of this model, the screen resolution of 480x800 pixels is not very satisfying for the user. The screen picture is bright and clear, but we think that it could and it should have been better. However, 228 pixels per inch are not that bad at all, but Sony could have done a better job with this display. However, the photos and text are clear and showed in the correct colors.Sony Xperia L specs
Despite the specification that does not strikes our mind, Sony Xperia L almost never makes mistakes as some more expensive models with more powerful processors. With a dual-core 1GHz processor and 1GB of RAM this Xperia model looks pretty weak on paper. There are competitors that offer more powerful processors for the same price, that comes in handy when playing video games, for instance. 1750mAh battery is enough for this phone with a moderate consume of energy. With such capacity Sony Xperia L can stand all day. Sony Xperia L has Wi - Fi , 3G and NFC connections, which is fair considering the price range of this phone.Sony Xperia L camera
This camera has a good combination of sensors and associated elements. It is an 8MP camera with LED flash, which together combines a decent production of photos, but we notice some difficulties in making the photos, that can sometimes be tedious. If we all buy smart phones just to have a decent camera, then the problem may not be so significant.Sony Xperia L conclusion
Sony Xperia L has a decent display and performance, but little things, like a long time to make photos are ruining the impression of this phone. An additional problem is poor build quality, which leads us to the conclusion that there are better phones for the same price. The choice is, of course, only yours. Photos:sonymobile.comCategories
