Just a few days ago Samsung formally unveiled its new mid range Galaxy Music phone, a model designed for high sound quality lovers, with advanced music player options, and a phone that will run Android 4.0 ICS. The New
Galaxy Music was presented with quite modest information about its specs, but a few things are pretty certain about this "musical treat". The
Galaxy Music’s dimensions are 110.1 x 59.0 x 12.25mm, and the weight 106.9 grams. With these dimensions, its clear that this model is medium sized. The battery of this phone will be a 1.300 mAh and it’s a standard battery for this class of phones. When we talk about design, and with the information (now available), this phone seems harmonious and lovely perhaps we could compare it with the popular
Samsung Galaxy Gio, but we will refrain of any further comment until we have a chance to hold this phone in hand and "deal" with it a little more.. [caption id="attachment_3038" align="aligncenter" width="226"] Samsung Galaxy Music seems like the "real deal"[/caption] The interesting thing about the Galaxy Music is that it has been announced with
Android 4.0 operating system, and although the processor power remains unknown for now, we secretly hope for 1GB of “power”. What we do know, is that this model will work with
512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, and for the general satisfaction of all future users of this model, the memory will be expandable with a Micro SD card up to 32GB. [caption id="attachment_3040" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Galaxy Music and the available specs[/caption] Galaxy Music will be equipped with a
3-inch QVGA TFT touchscreen display. The phone was presented with a
3-megapixel camera (fixed focus) and no LED flash which we find as a huge lack for a phone that should be a great one according to early announcements, but regard to the intended purpose of the model, we'll get over it. Another positive side in this model are its
Wi-Fi b / g / n, Wi-Fi Direct wireless connections. And speaking of connections, this model also has Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, as well as Micro USB port. [caption id="attachment_3039" align="aligncenter" width="300"] Galaxy Music promises a dynamic listening experience[/caption] As the name of this phone suggests, this model is equipped with various accessories for maximum music enjoyment of its users, such as dual (front) stereo speakers, and applications such as the Sound Alive, Smart Volume and SRS. This model will also have the dedicated music player icon that will enable quick and easy access to the player itself. The price of this model is still one of the unknown details, but given that the
Galaxy Music is presented as a middle class phone, we believe that its price won’t be too "spicy". This phone has also been announced in a
Dual SIM version, which will be a great addition to the phone’s excellent music performance and satisfy the mobile users who have a need for simultaneous use of two numbers. What is your opinion about this phone, would this phone find a place in your technical "inventory"?
