Apple launched iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

The rumors were true. Apple has announced two new iPhones. For the first time we have iPhone in different sizes. The new iPhone 6 has 4.7-inch screen, while the iPhone 6 Plus is respectively large device with 5.5-inch, and it comes as direct competitor to Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The "classic" iPhone is 6.9mm thin, and at the same time the Plus is 7.1mm. That's a big progress having in mind iPhone 5S has 7.6mm in waist. The size isn't the only difference about screens, because Plus owns high-res 1920x1080 pixels screen with 401ppi, while the iPhone 6 is rely on 326ppi from 1334x750 Retina display.

New iPhone 6 - more power

The special event in Cupertino was a perfect place to launch new A8 processor, which is hidden inside both phones. Apple claims it's 25 per cent faster in CPU and 50 per cent in GPU tasks. Better processor means better battery management. The larger Plus will last 24 hours of 3G talks. The smaller iPhone offers 14 hours of talks. Also, the new iPhone 6 gives 50 hours of audio playback. The bigger phone is still better with long lasting 80 hours of listening music. Both phones can provide 10-14 hours of web browsing. Also, the phones are packing an M8 motion coprocessor for different kind of fitness activities, as also as Wi-Fi and LTE connections.

Apple Play comes as iPhone 6's NFC

The iPhone 6 Plus is a first of its kind that can be used in landscape mode, which makes it look more like a tablet. Even some new buttons are added when the phone is in horizontal position. Apple Pay is an Apple’s name for NFC. This kind of contactless payment allows users to pay without credit cards. The service is available in US initially.

iPhone 6 Camera

The phones are equal even when the cameras are about. The 8MP main camera with True Tone flash and new iSight sensor gives faster autofocus and better results. Face and smile detection are faster too. The difference between them is in image stabilisation. While iPhone 6 use digital, the Plus is certainly better with optical stabilization. Both are capable of recording video in 1080p at 30 or 60fps, but also in slow motion in 120 or 240fps. The front-facing camera is getting 81 per cent more light so the selfies can be more pure. The features like HDR selfies now, burst selfies and improved face detections are here too.

iPhone 6 price and sell

When it comes to design, the iPhone 6 comes in gold, silver or space grey. The price in UK starts from £539 (16GB) and goes via £699 for the 64GB model and £789 for the new 128GB model.
