Samsung introduced its new Galaxy Tab S series of tablets

Samsung has put some new tablets into the game. At the event in New York this manufacturer has introduced the new Galaxy Tab S range of tablets. There're two of them, and both can be considered as tablets of compromise. The main reasons are their sizes. One of them has 8.4 and the other one 10.5 inch. Samsung is offering Wi-Fi and LTE versions and the Koreans are hoping that these tablets will be their best tablet ever made. It’s a huge task to do, but let's wait and see what these two Galaxy Tab S are made of.

Galaxy Tab S Specs

No matter of the screen size, all the versions are coming with 2560x1600 AMOLED displays. Beyond the surface will be Samsung Exynos octa-core chipset and 3GB of RAM. Also, the tablets of the Tab S series will be offered with 16 or 32GB of internal storage, but also with microSD support for 128GB max.

Galaxy Tab S Design

In the visual term, Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Galaxy Tab S 10.5 are following the design introduced by the Galaxy S5 smartphone. The most similarities are visible at the back where we can see perforated and textured surface. Also, the new Galaxy Tab S series will be selling with a fingerprint sensor. The tablets pack the main 8MP camera, with a 2.1MP front-facing helper for selfies. With just 6.6 thick, the Galaxy Tab S series is considered as ultra thin, and ultra light, because the 10.5-inch model has only 465g. The 8.4-inch hits the scale at just 294g.

Galaxy Tab S price and sell

The new software is here, so it's untreatable to see KitKat installed. Also, the tablets are equipped with a plenty of Samsung's features. The starting prices in US are $499 for 10.5-inch model, and $399 for an 8.4-inch tablet. The shipping will start from July.
