Battle for iPhone in China

It's not competition between distributors, it's not fight on the market...

It's a battle in only one store - Apple Store! It's battle between customers. But, it's a really a battle.

iPhone is more than a phone, it's symbol, prestige, way of life... In China, they think differently.

Desire to buy new iPhone was so high that Police and ER had to step in. Problem was when in Apple Store in Beijing and Shanghai all shelves with new iPhone become empty. The crowd, who was waiting for iPhone in the queue, exploded and become wild when shop assistant started with closing the door of the Stores. The stores would open again when they refill their stock, but crowd didn't want leave the stores. So they started with throwing eggs on the Store windows.

Soon police stepped in and Apple decided to close all Stores due to security risk and bad marketing image. Or is this actually the best promotion of product in any country?
