LG G Pad 8.3 review
LG G Pad 8.3 design
Tablet acts as an enlarged LG G2. It is not without reason. The device is made of the same plastic and has the same rounded edges. Regardless of that fancy device look, LG G Pad 8.3 leaves a good impression when held in hands. As the side surface is very small and that device is only 8.3mm thin, the screen is fully exposed which is the primary intent of the tablet manufacturers. Only some of them reach the success. Tablet is available in black and white colors. Therefore, there are not some big experiments. But there is aluminum backdrop that gives a real feel of the tablet. We mentioned that the device is quite thin. Maybe not as much as iPad Mini, but with 338g LG G Pad 8.3 is only slightly heavier than Apple's tablet. All this is quite a good result, especially if we know that LG was not long in the tablet segment. If you are not a fan of the volume button from the back of the LG G2, do not worry. There’s no one here. All keys are usual. The main is on the side, a 3.5mm audio input is located on the right side, while the rear 5MP camera is with a pair of stereo speakers at the back of the tablet. LG G Pad 8.3 as well as other 8-inch tablets requires some using skills. These devices are located on the border of convenience, and it's hard to find a place for them in regular pockets.LG G Pad 8.3 screen
LG G Pad 8.3 has an 8.3- inch IPS LCD screen with resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. So, it is a full HD screen. Thanks to this picture is astonishingly good. Impressive is the depth of color and the text is infinitely clean and sharp. But that's not all. The viewing angles are among the best so far. This screen is the real heart of this tablet!LG G Pad 8.3 features
LG G Pad 8.3 works on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and it is not much different from other Android tablets. LG’s interface is user-friendly. LG has brought some of their options. First of all there is the well-known KnockON, to simply unlock tablet, then Slide Aside - multitasking feature, and Qpair that allows easy connection of this and similar devices. Using this you can easily send and receive files, and use the tablet for calls when is connected to a phone.LG G Pad 8.3 specs
This tablet is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor along with 2GB of RAM internal memory. It runs at a lower speed of 1.7GHz, but it does not bother him and everything runs smoothly. Therefore, you will not have problems with browsing web, checking email, watching videos and playing games.LG G Pad 8.3 camera
LG opted for a 5MP camera and a front-facing camera of 1.3 MP. Photos are of very good quality and they have a certain level of sharpness. This camera is in the range of cameras from similar tablets, but be aware that you can not expect top-quality here. However, the resulting images are very good for posting on social networks, as most of us do.LG G Pad 8.3 verdict
LG G Pad 8.3 is a well-designed tablet. In addition to features and full HD screen there is enough power under the hood. On first view we can say that it is enough to compete with its competitors. However, I think that the price will be a determining factor. The price is not too big outlay if we take into consideration everything that LG G Pad 8.3 offers, so we’re looking forward to returning of LG to the world of tablets.
