iPad survived fall from space

This very popular tablet was exposed to very unusual test. If you think that NASA was involved into this experiment, you are wrong (but it would be perfect way for Apple to expand their sale potential to the Space). But idea for this test is coming from G-Form, company that is famous on global level for manufacturing equipment for protection.

Their team put the iPad into the protective case, attached it to the balloon, and "launched" it from the desert in Nevada. The balloon flew up to 30.000 meters, what is distance that we can call Space. There is a camera attached to the iPad during trip to the Space, which recorded all situations with iPad and balloon. You can see on the video that iPad survived the fall thanks to the G-Form protective case, which can absorb almost 90% of energy that is generated in impact.

There are couple of questions which we have to ask. First question is about credibility of the video. It's hard to explain is it real test that is on the video. But company is claiming that the video is 100% real.

The second think is about usability of this kind of test. This test is really helpful for astronauts that like to use iPad in every situation, especially when they are on duty in Space. If there is someone who goes to Space very often and carry iPad with yourself, and for some reason drops the device - tell us what happened!
