Galaxy S6 vs One M9: Battery, Storage, Connectivity
In our previous review Samsung Galaxy S6 vs HTC One M9 we compared the design, dimensions and we also talked about the material from which the body of these two fellows was made, but now we are ready to dig inside and see if these smartphones are just pieces of metal or the real thing. No one is denying that both, Galaxy S6 and One M9 are one of the best manufactured phones in 2015 and we will do our best to present them (battery, storage, connectivity) both just as they deserve, spectacularly.
Samsung Galaxy S6 vs HTC One M9: Battery
We also mentioned that the Galaxy S6 is thinner than its opponent the One M9, but we also argued that M9 is bigger because it has enlarged its battery from 2600 mAh (HTC One M8) to 2840 mAh, a thing that S6 certainly did not do. Samsung Galaxy S5 features 2800 mAh battery but the prime Galaxy S6 has 2550 mAh battery, which resulted to be the main reason for featuring a thinner body.
Samsung Galaxy S6 vs HTC One M9: Memory
As all the Galaxy S series had memory cards slots we imagined that this fellow will also have, but Samsung surprised us again by manufacturing the Galaxy S6 without giving the future users the possibility to enlarge the internal memory with a MicroSD card.
The main Galaxy S6 comes in with 3 gigabytes of RAM memory and 32 gigabytes of internal memory, but on the market there is also Samsung Galaxy S6 64 GB and even with 128 gigabytes of internal memory. Of course their prices differ depending on the storage that each device features.
On the contrary the HTC One M9 has a possibility to enlarge the internal memory even up to 128 gigabytes which deserves admiration. Just as Galaxy S6, the One M9 has 3 gigabytes of RAM memory and 32 gigabytes of internal memory, which surprised us a lot since One’s M9 predecessors hold 2 gigabytes of RAM memory (HTC One M8, HTC Butterfly 2, HTC One E8).
One M9 is not the first model to have the possibility to boost the memory with a MicroSD card of 128 gigabytes; its predecessors the HTC One M8, HTC Butterfly 2, HTC One E8, HTC One Mini 2, HTC Desire 820 Dual SIM, HTC Desire 816 Dual SIM featured the same thing.
Samsung Galaxy S6 vs HTC One M9: Connectivity
We will get straight to the point: The Galaxy S6 has the same connectivity features as One M9. They both have Wi-Fi ac and 4G connectivity but the Galaxy S6 gives the possibility to the future users to use mobile network and Wi-Fi concurrently which will double the speed of downloading a movie, music or any kind of other file. They also have Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and Infrared. Galaxy S6 holds a heart rate sensor and a barometer.
To conclude, if you want to have a mega rapid speed while downloading files than Galaxy S6 is the right choice, but for all those files a storage is needed! HTC One M9 with no doubt has a bigger storage for less money, not to mention that you have to pay a lot more to get a Galaxy S6 that bears a bigger memory than 32 gigabytes. So we can say that HTC is better when the storage and battery life is concerned, but yet again the Galaxy S6 is easier to hold in hands. Which is better, you choose!
This was the review of Samsung Galaxy S6 vs HTC One M9: Battery, Storage and Connectivity, stay tuned and find out the pons and cons of their other features: Processor, Interface, Camera!
