Mobile phone battery life

Group of exerts and explorers from US university with support from Microsoft found out that all these boring and harmless ads which you receive on your devices, are killing your mobile phone battery life. That number goes up to 75% of battery energy only because of the ads!?!

Mobile phone battery life is one of the biggest problems in mobile phone industry. With all new industry of mobile devices like tablets, smartphones, lap tops, PDA, etc, you can big range of products who count on efficiency of classic definition - Li Ion battery, or similar.

But there is very important element in this research: it's tested on Android OS. They used HTC Google Nexus One with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), and start with daily usage like Angry Birds, New York Times, Free Chess, etc. During Angry Birds playing, applications was using 20% of battery. Ads will have to locate the user on the server and start downloading the content of the ad. But every time when you start new level, ads will start with new "content downloading" again. And so on, until your phone battery life will end.

Unfortunately, users can't do anything about with this situation and their phone battery life. They can use applications which cleared from these battery killers, or to hope that android developers will figure it out something.
