The day that we all waited for (or at least Samsung fans): Samsung Galaxy S3 is presented to audience in London, and spread world wide. After so many rumors and gossip columns, we can officially present you the biggest competitor of iPhone 4S. Let's see what's new with Samsung Galaxy S3.

Design of Samsung Galaxy S3

On the first look, Samsung Galaxy S3 looks smooth, thin and with very large display. With dimensions of 136.6 x 70.6 x 8.6mm gives you a bit modified style of new Galaxy S3. It's longer for 10mm and wider for 4mm compared with Samsung Galaxy S2. There are two colors, white and blue.

There is still Home button in the middle, between Back and Application button.

Specification

First impression gives you 4.8 inches display, with 720 x 1280 pixels. It's protected with Gorilla Glass 2, so no worries for scratching the display. Because this display comes from Samsung, it's Super Amoled, but we can add also that it's HD Super-AMOLED display.

With main camera of 8MP and with resolution of 3264x2448 pixels, you will have enough quality images to capture. That's the same quality like for Galaxy S2, but Samsung Galaxy S3 can give you HD video and image recording in the same time. There are addition (or should we say expected) options like , image stabilization, touch focus, face and smile detection and geo-tagging.

There is front camera of 1.9MP, which is enough for Video calling, but a bit wicker than it's predecessor Galaxy S2 with 2MP.

But wait until you hear what is under the hood: Android OS, v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich), which should fly like a jet and make Interface very quick and perfect multitasking. What makes this model stand out is "Smart Stay" - function for eye recognition. This option should be prevent activation of Stand by to early, so if Samsung Galaxy S3 "sees" that you don't look at it (do not use it), it will know it should be on Stand by and saves the battery life. Very smart...

There is answer on Apple's Siri voice system, and it's called S Voice - voice command system. You can use it to unlock your phone with saying: "Hello S3", or it capture image when you say: "Cheese"...

The brain is powerful Quad-core 1.4 GHz processor (called Exynos 4412). This is great processor, more powerful than Galaxy S2 1.2GHz or iPhone 4S processor 1GHz. Internal memory storage is 16GB or 32GB, and could expandable up to 64GB with microSD slot. There is option to put in sale offer model with 64GB internal memory, but we will have to wait for that one.

Battery is Li-Ion of 2100 mAh, which will give you enough energy to talk, chat, surf on the web, watch HD movies...

Availability

Samsung Galaxy S3 will be available in the Europe from 29th of May, after that will be available in Asia, South America and Africa. In Japan, USA and South Korea it will presented as 4G model.
