Samsung has broken all sales records

While some world famous companies like Nokia or HTC that was, until yesterday, innovation and sales leaders struggle hard with great financial losses, Samsung unveiled that its expecting the confirmed “calculations” that it broke all records in the last quarter of 2012 when speaking of profit. Samsung claims that thanks to its high quality TV devices, but also the highly successful Galaxy smartphones brought a staggering 7.3 billion dollars of profit (yes, you read that right, billion) which is almost the double of the last year’s same period reported profit. [caption id="attachment_3002" align="aligncenter" width="440"] A crown for the king![/caption] Improved performance of the Galaxy S series were the “carrier” of such success. Samsung Galaxy S2 in US was not released until Oct/Nov 2011. The phone was offered in various US operator contract packages, and Verizon “a quite strong player” was not one of them. By comparison, the Galaxy S3 appeared in US this summer, again in contract packages but it could be found at all distributers. The Korean company pooled of a great move by reducing it costs with producing less models, and combined with good sales results, it gained better quarter sales results in 2012 by far. This commercial success or the continuous good sale results may easily be transferred in the next quarter as well. The reason is the un-going high demand for the Galaxy S3, but also the upcoming of Samsung’s new star the Galaxy Note 2 which is released on few markets. This Korean company might even get a “sale boost” due to some of their new promising products like the Android camera, the Windows 8 OS based smartphones, and Windows 8 OS tablets. On the other hand, analysts do not expect a repeat of this success in the upcoming quarter due to Apple’s rather successful iPhone 5, and the expected appearance of a new iPad. [caption id="attachment_3001" align="aligncenter" width="430"] It looks like Samsung has nothing to worry about..[/caption] Samsung is obviously doing just fine, and whether the reason is the slow competition “drowning”, or the production of Samsung’s above average quality devices, we do not know. One thing is for sure, Samsung took matters in its hand, and handles them well..
