Moto X and Moto G are official and upgraded now

Motorola has announced the successors of its Moto X and Moto G. Both phones are coming with significant upgrades, and both are ready to take another epic market battle against competitors. The new company's flagship is named Moto X once more and it brings 5.2-inch AMOLED display with 1920x1080 pixels. It means display has 423ppi. The phone is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 at 2.5GHz. The new X is running 4.4 KitKat OS.

Moto X Specs

The Moto X might be interesting handset due to four mics which should make better sound and its recording, as well as voice calls quality. The phone packs 13MP camera with dual flash capable of capturing 4k video. The phone's design is still combination of two main materials. The body is made of aluminum with the optional wood or leather back side with laser engraving. Under the unusual (only for non Motorola phones) surface is 2,300 mAh battery with turbo charging options. Translated into the language of user it means 8 hours of use in just 15 minutes of charge.

Moto G Specs

The younger cousin is also named as its predecessor. The new Moto G has grew and now it comes with 5-inch 720x1280 display with a 294 ppi. Under the hood is slightly weaker processor than the Moto X. It's powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor running at 1.2GHz. The new G has 8MP and 2MP cameras and two storage versions of 8GB and 16GB. You will be free to choose single or dual SIM variants. All of these versions have microSD slot for expansion of up to 32GB. For sales via Amazon starting price for Moto X is £420, while Moto G costs £145. Both phones will be available worldwide from October.
