Barclaycard PayTag - credit card on your phone

Barclaycard PayTag is presented as a new method of payment on contact-less terminals in every shop. It's a new credit card, three times smaller than usual credit card, which can stick to your back side of the phone.

So, how does it work Barclaycard PayTag?

Barclaycard PayTag is Visa card, three times smaller, with sticky back side. You can attach this card to back side of your phone and use it on every shop terminal that support contact less payment. With Barclaycard PayTag card you don't have to have mobile phone with NFC (Near field communication). It's free of charge, there is no additional interest. It will redirect to your Barclaycard PayTag credit card account.

There are predictions that during this year number of installed contact less terminals will rise up to 150.000. By 2013 London Tube (underground) and buses will install these terminals as well.

Problems?

The bad thing about this Visa card is that it's almost permanently attached to the phone, so there is no solution take it off. And there will be people who need this sticky credit card only for some time.

Second thing is color of the card: there is only black color. If your phone is black, you don't have this problem, but what about other colors like white or silver?
